There is a Five-Year Warranty on all custom cabinet doors produced by Build a Door Ltd. o/a The Door Maker are crafted using locally sourced medium-density fiberboard (MDF) and components. These materials are assembled on-site by skilled professionals utilizing the industry’s most advanced equipment. Build a Door Ltd. imports polyvinyl chloride (PVC) from leading design and manufacturing companies in Europe, which enables the company to offer a Five-Year Warranty on its products.
Thermofoil cabinet doors are an excellent option for refacing MDF cabinet doors because of their uniform appearance, ease of manufacturing, and resistance to common kitchen stains. After passing through our meticulous quality control process, each thermofoil cabinet door is built to last for years without denting, scratching, or losing its appealing aesthetic.
LIMITED 5-YEAR WARRANTY
All custom cabinet doors supplied by The Door Maker are warranted to the original purchaser against defects in materials and workmanship arising from the manufacturing process for a period of five (5) years from the date of purchase, subject to the terms and conditions outlined below.
This warranty applies only to defects resulting from the manufacturing process. The warranty does not cover defects, damage, or failures resulting from:
The Door Maker’s sole obligation under this warranty shall be, at its discretion, to repair, restore, or replace any product determined by The Door Maker to be defective after inspection and evaluation.
Replacement materials may vary slightly in color, texture, sheen, or appearance from the original product due to manufacturing changes, dye lot variations, or product discontinuations by laminate or material suppliers. Such variations shall not be considered defects.
The Door Maker reserves the right to substitute comparable materials of similar quality and appearance if the original materials are unavailable or no longer manufactured.
To make a warranty claim, the customer must provide clear photographic evidence of the alleged defect and submit the claim to:

The Door Maker reserves the right to request additional information or inspect the product before determining warranty eligibility.
The customer is responsible for all shipping, freight, handling, removal, reinstallation, and related costs associated with returning, replacing, or repairing any product claimed to be defective.
The customer is also responsible for the disposal of any defective product unless otherwise directed by The Door Maker.
This warranty is limited solely to the repair, restoration, or replacement of defective products. The Door Maker shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of use, loss of profits, labor costs, installation costs, or damage to other property arising from the use of its products.
Limitation of liability: It is understood and agreed that Build a Door’s liability, whether in contract, in tort under any warranty, in negligence or otherwise, shall not exceed the return of the amount of purchase price for the defective item paid by purchaser and under no circumstances shall seller be liable for special, indirect or consequential damages. No action, regardless of form, arising out of the transactions under the agreement may be brought by the purchaser more than one year after the cause of action has accrued.
Non-Assignability. This Warranty is personal to the Original Purchaser and may not otherwise be transferred or assigned in any manner without the express written consent of the Warrantor. Any attempted assignment or transfer in contravention of this provision shall be void and of no force or effect. On any transfer of ownership, this Warranty will be deemed expired.”
